The facilities at BSHR were all constructed for the sole purpose of rescuing abused horses. 100% of the materials used are recycled from demolished construction sites from the Southern Oregon region. Currently our facilities can house up to 300 horses; future expansion is in the planning stages and our capacity will increase to a projected number of 1,000 BLM horses and 500 rescued domestic horses.
